Meadowbrook, Washington. A nice, happy place to live. That was, until four years ago. Nothing bad had ever happened in Meadowbrook. Everyone was always so happy and friendly. There was no violence or drugs or drinking - unless it was a holiday. People lived as if they lived in a world like the movie Pleasantville. That was what it felt like just four years ago.
Here is the story:
Four years ago, a girl, Elizabeth Pattinson and a boy, James Weiss started dating. They were inseparable in every way. Though she was only fifteen and he seventeen, they were planing on getting married. Their parents did not mind at all. James loved when Elizabeth spoke. He was obsessed with her voice, as many would tell you. But after a few months, Elizabeth realized that James was changing. He would pick fights with any guy that even looked at Elizabeth, including her best friend's brother, Jasper Hannigan.
Elizabeth started to get distinct which only made it worse. James would show up at her house late at night saying he just wanted to talk. Elizabeth allowed this, until he showed up by climbing through her bedroom window. She got locks on her window and bedroom door. They had to change the locks on all their doors and windows.
What happened next, nobody saw coming. James attacked Elizabeth why she was babysitting her little sister Annie. Elizabeth faught him off until the police showed up, three hours later. Annie had escaped from the closet she has been locked in and had called them. James was taken away. The next morning, in a small town, everyone knew and showed up to see if Elizabeth was alright.
Of coarse, she was not. She had many bruises and cuts and a broken leg. After about a week, Elizabeth said goodbye to her family and friends and moved to Hawaii to live with her aunt, Rita.

Now, four years later, Elizabeth has decided that it was time for her to return to her family and friends. What she does not know, James is out of jail. Nobody has told her yet. Elizabeth is getting very close to Edward Mason. She was also made an enemy out of Chelsea Adams, who likes Edward. Chelsea has decided she is going to tell James that Elizabeth is back in town and wants him back so she can get Edward.
See, nothing in Meadowbrook, Washington has ever been the same since the attack on little, Elizabeth Pattinson. Everyone was just thankful that nobody was killed. Can you handle it all now?
