history: It was just over fifteen years ago on a rainy August day in San Francisco, California when Jonathon and Liza Davis brought two baby boys into the world. Twins. Lucas Ryan Davis became the name to the younger boy –only five minutes behind his brother.
When it was time for the twins to go home from the hospital with their parents, they were both taken to their grandparents house. It was Liza’s parents house. Being young, and having not yet found a home, they lived with her parents in their rather large house. Not that her parents minded –they loved the thought of having their grandkids living with them.
Liza was soon a full time science teacher at a local high school and Jonathon went back to his job as a successful business man. So, during the days the boys were left in their grandparents’ hands. Soon, Luke was very close to his grandparents –probably closer than he was to his actual parents.
But, then the boys started kindergarten. At about this time, Liza decided it was time to leave her parents be and she and Jonathon moved out of their house. They moved into a large house of their own and have been their since. Luke was rather upset at the time about leaving his grandparents, so he turned to music to help cheer him up. Music class at school became his favorite class of the day. By middle school, he was learning how to plan quite a few musical instruments. And now, during his first year of high school he can play piano, trumpet, and guitar. He hopes to learn to play others by the end of his school career.
This year is his first at camp hope with his brother. He’s there as a musician and hopes to increase his skill. So far he’s made friends with Maggie Scott and has hung alongside his brother for the most part.

- Smart. Lucas is anything but dumb. He spends a lot of his free time studying as he believes it to be important for him to keep his grades up if he wants to get into a good college. He takes school seriously most of the time and his favorite subjects are math and science. He’s never really liked History class, however.
- Shy. Although Lucas is smart, he’s not one to say much if he dosen’t know you. He has a tight group of friends who know his real side. Around just about everyone else he’s rather withdrawn or quiet. He’s embarrassed to practice his music around basically anyone except his brother.
- Funny. If Lucas knows you, he’s actually very open and friendly. He loves to make people laugh and is often cracking random jokes around his brother and friends. Most people don’t get to see this side of him, but it’s there.
