WELCOME TO NEW YORK The word myth is a funny thing, people don't really know if the people who told them the story is lying or not, it's even worse in Mannhattan. Everyone thinks what they want to think and forget anything about stories. You think you’re powerful and lovely as you walk down the street with your Gucci handbag or your thousand dollar suit down the crowded sidewalks of Manhattan. You don’t know who you walk with, but the feeling is always with you, telling you that you’re not the most beautiful face in the room. There are people, beautiful people, that hide who they are, dimming down their appearances and getting jobs to blend in. They’re the ones who are quiet and the ones who are loud and vibrant. The one that smirks whenever he gets a woman flustered because of his cocky attitude and looks. They vary in their personalities, but then again, it’s still hard to miss them.
You always see them; the gorgeous, proud and powerful people that walk the streets with you, but you never actually see. They are business men, models, writers and everything else that anyone on the earth could be. They are not rude or arrogant towards you unless you are towards them. They are the results of titians and other gods that have long since been forgotten. You, my friend, are walking among gods. They’re different from what you imagined, they have their traits that you wouldn’t expect. You see a brown haired man talking to a woman with red flaming hair, her green eyes shining like crystal. The on the next block, you see a coy man trying to seduce women with his good looks and his charm, another one sits at the coffee shop, playing with the sharp blade hidden in her pocket. You think these are normal people, but they are not.
These are the gods and goddesses of Zeus, of Olympus.
They are not mortals, and they have been with us for longer than our existence.
Not feeling so powerful now, are you?
