Pets: Artemis, german shepherd, three years, female
history:
Jason met Natalia when they were fresh out of university, he was a photographer travelling in Italy, she was a painter who sought out new things to paint beside the common buildings of her hometown. They encountered one another during a sunset, near the waters of the sea, when he had moved around with his camera, and caught sight of her figure in the light. Though he couldn't tell who she was, nor what she looked like, he could see a painting, and very beginnings of a woman trying to copy one of the world's greatest wonders.
For two days, he came back to the beach, hoping to see her again. Finally, on the third day, he got up the courage to go and talk to her. The two fell head over heels in love soon after that, eloping to England to marry. On September 1st, they were married in a little ceremony at sunset, along the banks of the Thames. Within a year, Natalia was expecting their first child.
But as time wore on, Natalia became sick, sick enough that the baby also became at risk of dying. The day Isabelle was born, Lawrence was the happiest man in the world, and held his daughter for the very first time. But when he requested to see his wife, the nurse said that she was gone, having died long enough to name his daughter, Isabelle Rose Wright. From that moment on, Jason had raised her at arms length, continually blaming her for the death of the only woman he had ever loved. In dispair, he turned to alcohol, was quickly unemployed, and spent all of his time screaming and beating his daughter, telling her that she was worthless and the cause of his pain.
Personal History: From the moment she was born, Isabelle was the unwanted daughter. When her Mother died shortly after her birth, her Father quickly came to think that his daughter was the cause of her death, never having listened to the doctors say that other complications had been the true reason. For the sake of an image, he raised her like a greiving widower, bringing her out of the house often enough for people to praise him to continuing on with his life, though he vowed never again to love another woman.
By the time she was five, her Father had turned to consuming large amounts of alcohol at a time, leaving him without a sober moment ever. He ignored her, teaching Isabelle how to fend for herself when she was too small to reach the stove, or operate the microwave. But when her eighth birthday came around, Lawrence began to beat her, losing his mind at times. From those numberous beatings, Bell gained many scars over her body, which lead to her continuous wearing of long clothes, even in the heat of the summer. So afraid was she of her Father's hurtful actions and words, she began sneaking out at night, just to sit in a tree in their backyard so she could look up to the stars and ask her Mother why she had died for her.
Eventually, Jason went back to work as a producer full time, and expected that his daughter would follow in her Mother's footsteps and become a dancer. When she turned instead to music, he was furious, insisting that she was attempting to destroy her Mother's memory. But when he saw that she had very little talent in dancing when compared to singing and song writing, Jason grudgingly accepted his daughter's talents, instead turning to his professional side. When not in school or at camp, he pushes her harder than anyone else he has ever worked with, because in his eyes there is nothing less that she can be than the best.

personality description:
Shy
Due to tramatic experiences from her past, Isabelle is a quiet girl who tends to shy away from the spotlight, though she secretly longs to be there. But her nerves always prevent her from staying, instead pulling her away with a fear that she can only ever recally feeling at one other point in her life. She doesn't talk to very many people, and as a quieter girl, tends to become invisible in the back of the classroom, despite her grades.
Secretive
Hardly ever one to speak out loud where someone can hear her, Isabelle tends to hold onto her secrets, writing them down in a single notebook, so that she doesn't have the constant burden of them hanging around her. But that also gives her the chance to observe things when needed. When she comes across them, the secrets of others also end up in this book, hidden in a large box at the back of her closet.
Loyal
Despite her lacking number of friends, there is always a fierce loyalty to those who take the opportunity to get to know her. She may not trust easily, but when she does, there is only one chance with Isabelle. Should she be hurt by anyone, that bond is instantly broken, and cannot be repaired. Such is the way that she operates.
Fighter
She might look like the quiet girl you can push around, and generally she is. But when the time comes that Anna has had enough and the people refuse to give in, then she takes it a little personally. Since the days she spent at home with her Father, Belle has learned to defend herself in various forms, mostly martial arts. If there is one thing this girl cannot stand, it's a bully who picks on someone smaller and weaker than they are to feel like they rule the world.

Things had been super quiet around the camp that day, which was odd, even for a place as isolated as Camp Bell. The wind wasn't blowing, the birds weren't chirping, nor the crickets humming. Everything felt as though it was standing still. The sounds of the campers in the waters of the lake were nonexistant, which made Isabelle wonder where everything was on such a beautiful day, where, despite the quiet, the sun was still shining and warm.
Searching for something to do was unusual for her, the kind of girl who was easily contented to remain indoors and read a book, or head over to the music room so she could softly play the piano. It was one of the few places in the world, besides her own cabin, where she couldn't be found and hurt by the few people there who hated her with a passion. In all honestly, Isabelle had no idea why they did. One had feelings for a camp counselor, and the other had the hots for the boyfriend of her best friend. Then again, they had never made any sense to her in the years before. Why should they start now?
A quick glance at the clock beside her bed told Isabelle that the kitchen staff would not be working, having perhaps just finished with the lunch dishes. She gave a small sigh, then rose from where she lay on her bed, slipping her slender feet into her shoes before she left the cabin. Her stomach rumbled, reminding her of what little she had eaten while she had been at lunch. Isabelle rolled her eyes, stuffing her hands into her pockets as she walked along the boardwalk, heading in the direction of the kitchen.
It was a relatively short walk, where she could observe the wildlife that was still around, despite the usually noisy campers. Squirrels were scurrying along the branches of the trees, birds were flying through the air. Things seemed to quiet for a place that was normally buzzing with activity, a place with approximately a hundred people, including campers, staff and the wandering locals who came to check the camp out.
Isabelle reached the kitchen door within minutes, finding the screendoor to be the only thing seperating her from the inside. "Hello?" she called. "Is anyone here?"
There was no response.
Her hand pushed aside the screen door as she took a cautious step inside, finding that it was indeed vacant of all life. Again, she found this rather odd. Plucking an apple from the fruit basket, she continued to look around with dark brown eyes, wondering if maybe someone was pulling a prank on her, and she was unaware. What other reason was there for being alone?
anything else? Not that I can think of.
